The 1908 single volume goes further on logarithms, inequalities and compound interest, but it has no functions and no graphs — the material of this book’s chapters 2 and 3.
Rashevsky's carries the first and second courses in one 272-page volume and, like this book, teaches first- and second-degree functions through their graphs. It has no chapter on indeterminate equations and prints no answers.
- Davidov's Algebra$59.95
Davidov's goes further on indeterminate analysis, imaginary quantities and compound interest, but it has no coordinates, no function concept and no graphs — the material of this book's chapters 2 and 3.
